Power Zeni is a 'power-backup service' startup based in Odisha. We currently install inverter + battery power backup solutions for households and businesses in Odisha, soon to expand into other states. We are on a mission to enable affordable power backup for 1 million homes and businesses by 2030, ensuring no one is affected by power outages. Currently, our battery storage system is charged using direct electric grid power. Soon, we will expand to include a solar off-grid battery storage system.

We have partnered with leading battery and inverter manufacturing companies in India who are our suppliers for power backup solutions. The battery and inverter combination recommended to users is based on the load requirement of the customer and available suitable combinations in our inventory.

When you sign up for a free quote, our executive will connect with you to understand your load and backup requirements based on your daily consumption and equipment list. This will be followed by the recommendation of suitable power backup equipment.Alternatively, you can also use load calculator by Power Zeni to get recommendations of inverter type and battery capacity that would be suitable for you.

For a small inverter+ battery configuration it is advised to use light electrical equipment light, fan, Wi-Fi router, laptop and mobile charging, LED TV etc. For heavy electrical usage by businesses or large homes, we suggest using a higher capacity battery + inverter configuration.

Customers can choose from 2 pricing plans either Buy to own by making full payment in one go or pay through EMI and part payments. The other is the Power Zeni Subscription where subscribers enjoy lifetime power backup starting from INR 799/month without worrying about servicing, equipment damage, relocation costs, maintenance etc.

Full Payment: Customers can make payments through UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking and Cash.For EMI: UPI mandate, debit card EMI, credit card EMI and other eligible EMI options Subscription: UPI mandate, debit card, credit card

Customers need to submit address proof of the site of installation along with an on-site photo of them with the equipment. The documents can either be submitted online or will be collected by our installation team during the installation process.

Currently, we are operating only in Jajpur District in Odisha. Soon, we will expand into other parts of Odisha and neighboring states.

There are no delivery fees for installations within our operation zones.

A customer will be provided with a 4-day grace period to make the payment for any default or missed payments. If the customer fails to make the payment within this grace period, the plan will be automatically canceled, and the device will be collected by our ground team. Collection charge + no of days lapsed will be auto-debited from the security deposit and refunded within 7 working days.

Minimum tenure for power backup subscription is for 6 Months where user needs to pay the entire 6 month subscription cost upfront with no extra hidden costs. Tip: Longer the subscription, more discounts you can avail!

Customers can cancel their subscription after a minimum of 6 months of subscription. We need a minimum of 40 days advance notice before the end of your subscription period for you to be eligible for refund.

Your subscription will be automatically renewed for 1 additional month after it expires. Post which you will be asked to confirm for additional renewals or cancel your subscription through Power Zeni app followed by free equipment collection by our team. Tip: Always renew your subscription in advance to avail best offers and discounts.
